Caller: Likely scam

I answered with my name and the line was silent on the other end for a few seconds before a computerised woman's voice said "goodbye" and then hung up. Seems very sketchy

Called and did not leave a message. Tried to call back and stated the number has been disconnected.

They called twice. Silence for a few seconds, then woman’s voice saying ”goodbye” .

I answered, there was nothing for a few seconds and an automated woman’s voice said goodbye then hung up. I blocked the number

Caller: Electricity comparison company

Called me a few times to 'help me compare my electricity bill'. When I said I wasn't looking to change my provider they hung up. Very rude. Sounded like it was a busy call centre in India.

When picked up phone it was silent then after a little while a automated woman’s voice says goodbye and beep sound. They may be recording your voice saying hello.. Seems dodgy! I Blocked the number now.

Returned call, number was engaged

Twice in two days, get womans voice saying goodbye and hangs up so blocked number. What can they achieve from this if it hangs up shortly after answering?

called and I answered. 8 seconds later a female recorded voice says good bye. 3 times in 3 hours!

Same as others here ringsseveral times and no response just disconnects

Said something about powersaver regarding your power bill

Caller: Supposedly called "power saver"

Feel like a possible scam - although they did seem to have ready access to my power meter number power bill once i advised my supplier. Offered a seemingly legitimate power company with better rates than i currently pay. Knew my address, name and email already. Sought my birth date and number of an ID doc such as Medicare Card or Drivers Licence. This I did not like so ended up hanging up. They may possibly be a basically legitimate power company sales agency of a sort (getting a commission for successful redirection to new power provider - such was not declared though) or may be a scam.

Called twice in two days no answer blocked the number

Didn’t leave message.
Blocked.

I called back the number (02) 9189 5541, rang and got disconnected automatically

no answer

Second call in two days. Total silence when answered. They hang up after 10 seconds.
Blocked the number.

No message left

I answered and said Hello, but the caller didn't reply. I wait 30 seconds and no one talked, so I hung up.
