Called, said something to some else in the background, then asked if "Is this "my-name", I said yes and then he hung up. Very suspicious.

I called back number (02) 9188 5283 rang 5 times then goes to busy tone.

If they ask you a closed question such as 'what is your name?' expecting 'yes' as the answer they will likely record that to use that for over the phone banking where they use voice verification to get into your account. Be careful. Don't say yes, just say f*ck off or something or just hang up

Picked up the call from this number. They hang up immediately. Don't bother answering call from this number.

Nuisance, same as the other people. keeps on calling & you wont connect if you try to call back. Can the telcos disconnect this number ?
