Pathetic, they ring and then slam down the phone. Try to call back and it's disconnected. Losers have no life.

Said they were from Gordon & Wells and went straight into asking questions about earnings and home owner status. Said it was about a government rebate. Said I wanted an email and said that's not how government incentives work. She then ended the call. The number for Gordon & Wells is not the same.

Same thing happened to me. What I want to know is what's the scam? How do they make $ doing this? Because $ is the only reason they would do this.

I assume the guy on the phone is a vegan, he was asking if I wanted my salad tossed.

Caller said she was from Gordon and Wells (i googled them: a law firm in Sydney) regarding me being eligible for a government rebate.

received a call regarding a tax incentive. called the number back and it was disconnected

(02) 9188 4116 called with a tax incentive. when I called back the number was disconnected.

Said from Gordon wealth about government rebates for house said I was on database for mortgage owners not sure how they get yr name or number

Had a call 11:41am 30/11/16 same spam call like everyone else mentioned – I answered and the other end hung up. Definitely not disconnected. Still alive and well operated.

can confirm as others mention if you call the number it says -Optus advises the number you have dialed is disconnected.
