This must be a scam site. Don't give them the time of day.

I just received a phone call today from (02) 9188 1633 wanting to discuss a car accident in the last 12 months, Irish accent too. I've never had an accident. Another bloody scammer!

Just had two calls in succession and no voicemail left. Interesting thread from others being called randomly also! I agree, lead them on and find as much information as possible to close down this type of operation.

Definitely a scam if some sort. Unfortunate they had my mobile number and name already. They started the call by saying "Could I speak with John Smith please?" Stupidly I said yes, speaking. Then they asked if I'd an accident in the last 12 months. I said no and they said oh I'm sorry, must be a system error. I'm annoyed at myself for not asking who is speaking first!
ALWAYS ASK WHO IS CALLING AND HAVE THEM PROVIDE DETAILS. NEVER WILLINGLY GIVE YOUR DETAILS TO A RANDOM CALL. CALL THE CONPANY BACK IN THEIR MAIN NUMBER IF YOUR INTERESTED IN ANYTHING.

Rang up and asked if I had been involved in any accidents. I said no and they said they'd remove my number from their call list. Dodgy.

Had the same caller. Spoke with an English accent. Asked if I had been in an accident in the past 12 months, I said no, she then said "have a good day now" and hung up. Definite scammers. Had a guy from the same scam group call me a few weeks back, I said I possibly had been in an accident but said it was someone else's fault, he said that he "must have the wrong number" and then hung up.

Called about an accident I was in. Told the English accented male he had the wrong number, he apologized and hung up. Usually these scumbags have some kind of indian origin accent.

I missed a call from them and rang back. Twice it was engaged, 3rd time someone was there before it had a chance to ring? I could hardly understand her East London accent. Was I in an accident. No. Sometimes our data base is wrong. What data base...you mean your cold call list? Total scam.

Next time they call play the game, say, "yeah I've had a couple, which one are you asking about" try to get as much info from them then report it to scam watch.
