Caller: Go Daddy

It's not a scam call, it's definitely a legitimate call from Go Daddy, simply asking if you're happy with their service. They do not ask for any logins or passwords or anything.

Didn’t leave a message so either telemarketers or scammers

From Go Daddy,, has my information. But there was no clear purpose of the call and I do not want to hear about what I purchased from them. Waste of time and not professional with lots of ahh... pauses and awkward responses. Time waster.

Answered called, silent for 3 seconds then hung up

Caller: GoDaddy

Caller is GoDaddy. Follow up call thanking me for using their service I purchased a domain name and website builder through them.

Caller: Go daddy

Said they were my godaddy account manager. asked if everything was alright with my domain and email. I said yes. They said have a good day. If it's a scam then the only thing they confirmed was association of my phone number to my name. Which is prob in the digital universe anyway as it's on my email signature and in my LinkedIn profile (for connections).

Caller: Not GoDaddy

This is a scam, this is not GoDaddy - Confirmed by their Head Office.

Saw the feedback here so didn't answer the call. Didn't leave a message. Likely scam.

Caller: Claimed.to be godaddy

Mumbled like a jackass, said something about GoDaddy I just told him to F off.

Caller: Lady with indian accent

Pretends to be from go daddy. Scam.i asked to verify n send email. Did not. Knows my name and phone number now. I expect more scam call

just because you use godaddy and they claimed to be godaddy and asked for nothing but confirmation, doesnt mean its not a scam. Godaddy does not do this. id guess they got some leaked database info and are calling to confirm and correlate you to the info they have. it will be used for later scams.

Caller: Some Daddy bloke

Said something about being My Daddy so I hung up.

Answered, he responddd by stating hello then hung up.

If this fall is from GoDaddy than what the hell is that as I do even use that service or bought anything from them. Odd by these posts

Caller: Someone from Go Daddy apparently

My "account manager" is trying to move me onto a better plan, which is completely fine. However, I’ve already let her know that I’ll review the email and get back to her, yet she has called me seven times just today. It’s becoming quite frustrating, and the persistence is starting to make me question whether it may be a scam instead, given how relentless the contact has been.

Caller: Claimed to be GoDaddy

American accent. Claimed to be from GoDaddy. Knew my domain name and read out my email address, asking me to confirm it. Possibly real, but I didn't trust it, and either way, it didn't sound particularly important: saying they "just wanted to confirm they're sending emails correctly", etc. So I wrapped it up and hung up.

It’s Go Daddy they are legitimate and they call to check on your plans and they are not scammers at all. Been using them for over 9 years

It's a scam call, just orchestrated quite well. Do not answer this or call them back.
Godaddy will NOT ask you for the last 8 digits of your credit card as per the IVR if you call them back.

Believe is from Godaddy, but the person just left the voice message saying his name but did not tell more info such as the purpose of the call, or any other useful information. May be just want to show to the management he has done his job. Bad work attitude
