Caller: Go Daddy It's not a scam call, it's definitely a legitimate call from Go Daddy, simply asking if you're happy with their service. They do not ask for any logins or passwords or anything.

From Go Daddy,, has my information. But there was no clear purpose of the call and I do not want to hear about what I purchased from them. Waste of time and not professional with lots of ahh... pauses and awkward responses. Time waster.

Saw the feedback here so didn't answer the call. Didn't leave a message. Likely scam.

Caller: Claimed to be GoDaddy American accent. Claimed to be from GoDaddy. Knew my domain name and read out my email address, asking me to confirm it. Possibly real, but I didn't trust it, and either way, it didn't sound particularly important: saying they "just wanted to confirm they're sending emails correctly", etc. So I wrapped it up and hung up.

Caller: Scam call It's a scam call, just orchestrated quite well. Do not answer this or call them back. Godaddy will NOT ask you for the last 8 digits of your credit card as per the IVR if you call them back.

I answered the call, the line then hung up after a few seconds, most likely to get me to call back.

Well, that was weird. I received a call from (02) 9169 9769. A Woman was complaining to someone else quite loudly in the background, using lots of F words. I hung on to listen more out of curiosity than anything else. They hung up after about two minutes without saying anything to me directly. If it was a call centre, then a woman in that call centre was very upset with someone else in that call centre today!

Caller: Go daddy They called me, they framed the call as a courtesy call to see if we are happy with the service and if there's anything They could help us with. I said, "everything's great, nothing we need help with". He said "ok so I won't point out what is wrong with your service then". When I asked what's wrong with our service he was rude saying "no, no, you said you don't need help, everything's fine". The call got even more bizarre and I ended up hanging up when he became more combative than helpful.

Caller: (02) 9169 9769 It's GoDaddy wanting to discuss your Web or domain services. It's legitimate. It's not a scam. Still annoying though as they called twice. First time no message. Second time left a message.

The number ((02) 9169 9769) was called and the call went to the VM. There was no sound and pin-drop quiet. No doubt this was a scam call. Beware!!
