I rang the number back - a recorded msg states words to the effect, 'if you have received a call from this no. we are ringing on behalf of charities that you may like to support blah, blah, blah'. I immediately added their # to the ever growing list in a contact name I call 'Charities Chasing $'s' & immediately block their no.

When I answered they hung up.

I called back number (02) 9165 4914 reached voice mail for a charity company but did not say the name.

I have no idea who these people are as Reverse Number Lookup has no results. They called on the mobile but didn't leave a message. Then immediately called on the home phone, got the message on the answering machine (which I always monitor before answering) and then immediately hung up.
