A voice recording supposedly from the "Department of Home Affairs" claiming I was being charged with tax fraud asked to "press 1" got some guy with an African accent asking for my full name. When challenged he put the phone down

Another scammer that doesn't leave amessage. No answer on reply......

Rang number back, there is a mumbled recording without stating their company name and they mention they only give "general advice, please hold while we wait for an operator and these calls may be recorded". I hung up, Indian accent.

So annoying. They call everyday and never leave a message. I have decide to block this caller

I called back the number (02) 9159 2575 but the phone just kept ringing

They are a real company but I am broke so there's no chance I would be able to invest with them. Waste of a phone call on their part.

Including this number I am getting sick and tired of blocking ALL the "Spam" unsolicited calls. When I rang 1 back I receive a message "OPTUS regrets this number is not connected" so the question begs as to why are the telcos not responsible for all these #@&wits using the systems to cause disruption to daily life and business.

Indian call centre scam...... I just leave them hanging (dead air) until they hang up.

Answered the phone (I'm a female) the Indian guy goes "Hi David...I'm David from "mumble mumble" Stock Market". Really you're David? I'm David? We're all David! I should have gotten a whistle and blown it down the receiver. How do you like them stocks.
