right off the bat - extreme BS something about shares and do not hang up!!
It is time we let them hang on long enough to annoy them and trace the call and report to ombudsman.

Wanted to offer stock market advise, but asked for personal details. Told to ‘@#$&’

Caller: So called Research Market Consultant

Wanted to start off with an innocent survey and then line me in to disclose more information about myself. How is it the Police doesn't investigate such matters by engaging the telcos to provide the identity of this person or organisation scamming people

Call from this number today, female, asked how I was, (like they care!) said that was good to know - "The reason for my call is....... then prattled on about something (couldn't understand a word she said) then she said something about wanting my first & last name. I told her to just go away. 2 minutes late she called back, I cancelled the call. When are these idiots going to wake up that no-one believes their scams.

Their recorded message now says it is general advice - I blocked the number

Called me on the home landline. Call went to voicemail but no message left - only background noise. Called me on mobile 10 minutes later but such a bad line I could not get any understanding of who was calling or why.

Indian accent fellow trying to give me information in the Australian Stock Market, when I told him I was not interested he told me to f*ck Off and hang up

I called back to find out who this was after the 3rd call over the last 6 weeks. Recorded message states that this is "Caltime" and that the call will now be directed to an Account Manager. I think this is a Telemarketer as Google was not much help when I tried to look up this business..!!
