Caller: Call Centre Two calls from this number yesterday. Did not answer the first. Second an hour later. Call Centre noises and woman with accent saying problem with my Telstra NBN connection. I hung up. Obviously a scan as I have NO arrangements with Telstra.

(02) 9158 6523 rang my landline number and did not leave a message for the answering machine - it appeared as a missed call. There is a significant probability I believe, that it is a scam call, having the intention that I call the number back to see who called...and as such to possibly link my phone to a high charge phone call.

Whatsapp message somehow came through to my phone from this landline number asking "James, are you OK?" (my name isn't James)
Then I got a missed call from the number
