Claimed to be the fraud department for BOQ, said my credit card had been used for a suspicious purchase and they froze my card until its sorted. Fraud claiming to protect me from fraud how novel.

Said from Bank of Queensland fraud. I called back on a different number i have for BOQ and they had put a hold on my card. Verified the transactions and the hold was removed.

Automated message about supposed credit fraud. It gave this number and a 1300 number to call the fraud team, none of them official BOQ phone numbers from the BOQ website.

BoQ put a hold on my credit card due to a possible fraudulent transaction and I received an automated message from this number. Called BoQ directly from the number on the back of said card and there had indeed been a fraudulent transaction.
Also received an email and SMS regarding the transaction.

Claimed to be BOQ Fraud team, left a message with a robotic voice and used my full name. I called BOQ and they confirmed it is a scam.

Guessing this is the BOQ fraud team as my BOQ card had just been fraudulently used.
Assuming this is a genuine number.

I returned a call from (02) 9158 6385 but reached vm for BOQ Personal Banking

Said they were BOQ security

I called back the number (02) 9158 6385 and reached vm that said I reached BOQ Finance
