They invoice you for the blood test that is not a rebate. They don't provide proof that you have signed the request forms, so I haven't been paying the invoices til they acknowledge my emails.

Caller: A man with an Asian accent Phone call today claiming to be from Western Diagnostic about an unpaid bill from September for over $200, during my elderly father’s hospital stay in WA. He asked if I’d received text messages about the bill being outstanding. I said I never opened them because no reputable company would send them that way. So it was obviously a scam. He tried to tell me that it’s their new billing method. That they couldn’t send it to the health fund because the hospital didn’t have the membership number. He wanted me to give it, along with email address and various confirmation info (which I didn’t give)The real concern is how much detail they have on the person who was in hospital. I didn’t divulge any info. Told him to mail the account to the address they’ve got and I’ll look at it. The hospital security systems must be rubbish if hackers can get all these details. I always check phone number after and saw all these comments. Yes, total scum for them to do this. Why aren’t they shut down?!

I followed up two missed calls - Asian lady who answered the phone had a very convincing manner about her - said she was from Laverty Pathology, which does exist, and is a part of Helius. She said she pulled up records from Dorevich Pathology. The recorded messages from Helius and Laverty prior to a person answering the call sounded genuine. I think it must be a data gathering scam, as she didn't ask for payment. Very sophisticated.

Caller: Scam It was a woman saying that she’s representing Amazon. Funny that I actually got a parcel from Amazon the other day, so I believed her for a second. It was when she went on to greet me and asked me how my day was did I realise it was probably a scam. Customer service was never this polite and friendly.

Caller: (02) 9156 8981 Called saying I owed money for a service that I already pre paid before I visited. Had the doctors name I visited and my name. Then asked me to confirm my address and DOB. I refused, tried to convince me I said no. They asked me to go into the practice and settle bill. Seems legit with all my info but I don’t owe any money.

I received the call today from (02) 9157 8981 about the invoice from the medical center which I visited a month ago. I thought it’s true and I told them my date of birth residential address and email address as well . I feels like it is scam. Don’t know what to do.

I am glad I looked up these comments. I have had three text messages ab out an outstanding bill for Dorivitch Pathology. Third SMS was FINAL notice. Had invoice number and link to click on. Never click on links!! That was last week. Today I got a call (voicemail message) from a Philipino accented man claiming to be from Dorivitch Pathology for an outstanding bill and to call back on a different number.
From what I have read here. Bloody scammers. Blocking this one as well.

Caller: Don’t know They rang me a few weeks ago about an outstanding invoice, and were VERY convincing. They even have a switchboard with different path clinics to direct you to. I’m honestly still not sure if this is a scam or legit, but I went with my gut and didn’t give them any information as they sounded disorganised

Caller: Philippines scammers Why the police still allow them exist??? They are the biggest scammers and pretend themselves of different hospitals, always send invoices and have all the personal details of us, when we questioned them, they can't answer it at all but repeat about the invoices again and again. When we rang them back, the robot said the finance department is closed, and then someone picked up the phone and said he is the finance department employee and we can pay him directly. I feel sorry for their parents to give birth such a bunch of low life c*nts.

Call from interstate and asked for me to consent to being recorded for training purposes, I said I don't agree. Lady brushed it off (which is a red flag). Was regarding an invoice, reporting to be from a medical centre that I haven't attended in years. Also asked me to confirm my email and address. I refused and told her to not call me again. How do these obvious scammers get away with this? Their number is visible and could be investigated by the appropriate authorities.

Scam call - left a voicemail claiming to be for MRI services - interestingly they had one or two details almost correct but most of the other information was clearly not correct and the call back numbers they provided were not for the services they claimed to represent

The guy who called sounded like he was from the Philippines (from his accent) and it sounded as though he was calling from a call center. He wanted to say that they have been chasing up an invoice - of a procedure I "supposedly" had done. I have never had a procedure like the one described. He sent me an email - which I am not sure if it is a scam or not. I foolishly confirmed my medicare card with him. I am currently talking to medicare so I can get a new number.
