Got a call from this number. They called and said that they are from Browns Plains Private Hospital. I use to live on Browns Plains and there is no Private Hospital there. I told him that and he kept repeating an invoice number saying I have funds needing to be returned to me that were made on the 03/09/2020. I told him no I didn't make any payments and Medicare has my details. He just repeated the same thing again. I told him there's no hospital and then he said "I have your details here, your invoice, your birthdate, I just need your email address." And I said "why do you have my details" and the he just repeated himself again. Lol eventually he stopped and said okay ma'am have a nice day. And hung up. Thank the heavens. 2nd time he has called me now.

I got this call this morning and the lady who called was very rude on the phone and was asking me for payments but she was refusing to explain me what’s it was about and when I asked to send me to my email she said no because it would be easier through the phone.

Told them to send the invoice to my address. called my doc and confirmed there were no outstanding bills to be paid.

I got a call this morning that I have to pay towards a consultation with my GP at Campsie Medical Centre towards a bill footed by them to present a compensation claim. The dates the caller referred to was when I was in hospital recovering after a surgery. Kept talking about an invoice for $300+ Asked her to send the invoice...nothing yet.
Looks like this number is known to make medical related scams

Left a voicemail message. Voicemail was quick and sharp. Reference number left. NOTE: QML would never contact you directly via phone. Either only through your GP or via Mail. Be mindful with A.I Technology really taking off, they can generate and copy your voice with only 3 seconds of straight consistent audio. Never say the words "I Agree" or "Yes" when speaking with them.

As others have said above, I got a call saying I owed money for a pathology test (which I haven't done). They knew my doctor's name and said I owed them $300. I have scam callers blocked on my iPhone so when they call they are immediately hung up on. Which it has done for this number. So based on this and the feedback above it appears to be a scam.

I had a missed call from this number, and a voicemail to call back on a 1300 number - they said they were from the medical centre I attend and that there was an outstanding invoice. I called the number and spoke to a man who said that he would call back the medical centre and ask them to bulk bill for the invoice, then took down my email address to email me about it later. He had the date of my last medical appointment and the name of the Doctor I had the appointment with, then said that he was looking in the records for any mention of the Doctor advising me that I would be billed (there was no mention apparently). I have not received an email from the financial services person. Feels like a scam now that I've had a moment to consider the details.

They invoice you for the blood test that is not a rebate. They don't provide proof that you have signed the request forms, so I haven't been paying the invoices til they acknowledge my emails.

Phone call today claiming to be from Western Diagnostic about an unpaid bill from September for over $200, during my elderly father’s hospital stay in WA. He asked if I’d received text messages about the bill being outstanding. I said I never opened them because no reputable company would send them that way. So it was obviously a scam. He tried to tell me that it’s their new billing method. That they couldn’t send it to the health fund because the hospital didn’t have the membership number. He wanted me to give it, along with email address and various confirmation info (which I didn’t give)The real concern is how much detail they have on the person who was in hospital. I didn’t divulge any info. Told him to mail the account to the address they’ve got and I’ll look at it. The hospital security systems must be rubbish if hackers can get all these details. I always check phone number after and saw all these comments. Yes, total scum for them to do this. Why aren’t they shut down?!

I followed up two missed calls - Asian lady who answered the phone had a very convincing manner about her - said she was from Laverty Pathology, which does exist, and is a part of Helius. She said she pulled up records from Dorevich Pathology. The recorded messages from Helius and Laverty prior to a person answering the call sounded genuine. I think it must be a data gathering scam, as she didn't ask for payment. Very sophisticated.

It was a woman saying that she’s representing Amazon. Funny that I actually got a parcel from Amazon the other day, so I believed her for a second. It was when she went on to greet me and asked me how my day was did I realise it was probably a scam. Customer service was never this polite and friendly.

Called saying I owed money for a service that I already pre paid before I visited. Had the doctors name I visited and my name. Then asked me to confirm my address and DOB. I refused, tried to convince me I said no. They asked me to go into the practice and settle bill. Seems legit with all my info but I don’t owe any money.

Call from Laverty Pathology for unpaid invoices. I go to Laverty for regular blood tests but they don't bill me, they bill Medicare. I have also been getting texts about unpaid invoices for Laverty, I have just been ignoring them
