(02) 9155 7522 rang after receiving a text to start Westpac would call regarding identity documents for Business Team. Did not answer, they left a voice mail which i deleted without listening to. Odd, and felt very suspicious as, whilst we did bank Westpac some 10 years ago, we neither have a business, nor bank with Westpac now. Sounds like a data breach to me

(02) 9155 7522 CALLED. No message. I called back. Westpac ID SECURE.

Called regarding business identity documents. They asked for my full name, DOB & Address. They knew I'd emailed the forms in but said my business email address was missing. I gave them my email address - Thats it. Later I checked the forms Id emailed...The email address wasn't missing. - I Think it was legit, just strange.

I can confirm this phone number is currently aligned to Westpac Banking Group
