missed a call from this number and they left a message saying Westpac Card Fraud but to call the number at the back of my card as suspected fraud on my card. When i looked the number up and found this page i was concerned it was a scam, but i phoned Westpac's customer number and they did confirm they had tried to reach me and had blocked my card. So the call i received from this number was in fact legit.

Got a called from this number and received this via sms
"Westpac Alert: Block placed on card ending 9213 for transaction at NONI B LTD for $204.71 at 20:06 on 01/03. If you recognise the transaction, reply 'Yes'. If you don't, reply

Said they were Westpac and that my VISA card had unusual activity. Gave me correct name and address info for my account and then asked for additional details to confirm it was me.

Told them to piss off. SCAM.

Called and asked me to go to the bank to be verified and wanted to speak to the bank teller to confirm my details. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!

Called on a Sunday claiming to be Bank SA, knew card details, said there was unauthorised activity.

(02) 9155 4595 called and stated my bank card was blocked from unauthorised transaction as a text message in my phone an hour ago, but my card number was incorrect, It is a scam.

Caller - claimed to be st George

Said my details have been compromised and to get in touch with BT super

Westpac bank transaction SCAM

Called but I didn't answer.

Sent a text message saying my account had an unauthorized transaction and that I had to contact the number provided to sort out refund of funds.

Didn't bother as I looked up the number and scam info came up!

Deleted and blocked number.

Unauthorised access to credit card, informed $130 had been taken out, happened to be old card no longer used, knew name, address and email tho
