Caller: Westpac

not scam

I had missed number on my mobile phone, so I called back on private setting and a woman told me that she was from Kristy's Spaces. They rent spaces out to people. When I told her that this number is quoted online as being a scam number. She took a breath and then said "Well I'm not sure." Definitely a scam.

Tried to call this number back and it says it is disconnected

Caller: BT Super Invest

BT Super Invest rep calling to discuss my newly opened account with them.

They said they were from Westpac wanting to confirm my work (a bank) opening hours. (banks already know all this about other banks)

I notice a missed call and then when I returned the call was advised that the number was disconnected

Caller: (02) 9155 0000

this number 0291550000 called and asked my date of birth. I don't like giving out my DOB.

Told him I don't talk to anyone on the phone about my bank accounts. Please send a letter and I will take to my local branch to deal with it..Immediately I phoned the Westpac bank to inquire about it and I was told that possible it was a scam.

Valid St George Bank number calling to enquire about a finance payout.

Seems to be some sort of outbound only number... you cant call it back

rang twice then went to busy tone

Missed call so I called back but it says to check the number and call again so I did check the number and I did call back!!!!
St George needs to be more professional and let the call through otherwise their reputation will go further down.

Westpac

Recieved call but no one on the line, called back after they hung up and it rung out

The guy said his name but cant remember. I just told him I was hanging up.

I only saw the number when it rang: I answered the first time but seemingly there was no one on the line. I just let it ring the second time. What time-wasters .. don't these people have anything better to do ?

When I called it back, I got a message (tried twice, same response) saying that the number had been disconnected. How odd, given that it was the number that rang me less than 10 minutes before that!

Westpac general insurance calling about a complaint i had lodged.

Phoned at 8.30pm and advised he was from Westpac & was just checking on new account. Tried to play a recording but did not work. I told him it was to late for call. Phoned Westpac no. and they were closed for the evening.
