Called few times. No message left. No response if I answer. Have received several from 9137 _ _ _ _ variations recently & all the same.

Called and when I missed it and called back, the guy said he’s from the Australia DIY families institute. No way of knowing whether true or not, but regardless I don’t trust charities fundraising over the phone so cut the call and blocked them

After I clicked on a website that provide medical advice regarding stomach cramps site it came up with a recorded message that my computer was locked and to call this number (02) 9137 2350 said they were from Microsoft. I called and a person answer, who asked me to hold my window icon key on the keyboard, and typed in the letter R, a screen pop up for key in a https address, he asked me to type in www.anydesk.com.au and hit the "ok". He has an accent but hard to tell. I told him that I have to call him back, he asked "why so?" I said there is someone at the door. He immediately cut me off.
The message still pops up on my computer after I have shut down and start, whenever i'm in google chrome.
I think they are hacker, and the location is in Sydney.

they are saying that they are Microsoft support teem but they are not

After I clicked on something on Groupon site it came up with a recorded message that my computer was locked and to call this number (02) 9137 2350 said they were from Microsoft and were trying to stop someone scamming $40,200 from my bank account at 2am this morning. They wanted to set up a sting op by sending me $40,000 and i was to put it in the hackers account. They installed a remote viewer on my computer which I have uninstalled. They gave me their address as 215 Miller st North Sydney. Sounded like a call centre. I got suspicious when they aske how far did I live from the bank. I ran a scan using my protection and there was no history of a hacker. Total BS.
Be careful when on Groupon site.

asked for my name and then hung up. getting a lot of calls lately esp from melbourne.
just wondering how come they are able to use multiple numbers. after i block them..another number calls me again...same deal with 03 prefix. i never answer but someone should really take a look into this annoying tele marketers. we do not want spam calls. if they are desperate to sell something, make a web page or go to insta ! grrr.
