Caller: Rombii

Rombii, claiming to be working on behalf of a major technology company. Could not confirm where they sourced my number from (manager gave it to me). Challenged the person on the phone regarding their true purpose and advised I would be breaching my employers information data security policies. Informed them I was obligated to report this to our IT Security group (true). If it's not that Nigerian prince, it's these turkeys.

Claims they are calling from Dell

Caller: Nutanix

Some 'cloud' computing company

Said they were from google but the call quality was terrible, I think she was lying.

Caller: Claiming to be from Red Hat

Received two calls targeting our Junior Software Engineers claiming to be from Red Hat saying we have qualified for something to do with their Network Automation business segment. Sounded like they were trying to get our Junior Engineers to sign up for something, maybe as part of a phishin / social engineering scam.

Asked if my name was some random name and when answered No they tried a different name

Also seem to be on (02) 9137 2124

Called twice in quick succession, missed both calls, left no voicemail. When trying to call back the line just drops. Suspicious.

Didn't give me any details, called asking for IT. Refused to give a call back number.
