Scamer claiming to be from telstra, something about virus on router. When I told her I don't have a computer or telstra account she hung up

A robot announced an “important legal…”. I hanged up immediately hearing just that. Normally I don’t pick up the phone seeing a strange number and let it go to voice mail box if the caller is persistent. I did pick up this time because I was expecting a call.

Scammer - American accent, claiming to be from Amazon.

This number called me today, but hung up without saying anything

Scammer called saying they were from Telstra and they have noticed technical issues with my internet. I don't even use Telstra for my home internet. I told them they were a scammer and hung up. I get scammer calls every day from different numbers.

Rang leaving no message. I did not answer or return the call. Now blocked thanks to the people who posted their comments earlier…thank you!

When I answered I got a female computer voice saying 'We have been trying to reach you. we are going to cut off your land line and internet service as now available through NBN, pleas press '1' to talk to technician. when I pressed 1, the message repeated and then the call disconnected. When I called the number back, I got female recorded message (American) 'The number you have dialed is not in use'.

Today they were from NBN Australia. Hung up as soon as I told them we don't have internet at home. Same number (and person twice) has called claiming to be from Amazon, Telstra and the Taxation Office office as well.
