Said Hello to answer the phone but the other end stopped.

called from "dodo"(one of Australian ADSL provider) asking for date of birth. Attempt to get private information. As I have been told the purpose of the call was to check service quality. bullsh*t. fraud.

This number is Dodo telephone company. This is the number they call me on when I'm behind on my bill

Data burst after a minute then hang up.
Called back, no ring, no response.

I answered to a delay, then a guy said he needed to verify my name and details as He was from DoDO!
I knew it was a scam strait away and hung up on them as DoDo never rings their clients except to sell you something and I am not interested in anything on the phones ever. I think this was a scam to get details to hack your computers Beware!

I think its DODO, because they left a number on my voicemail for me to call back on, I checked the number and confirmed it is definitely the DODO call centre.
(My credit card has recently expired so they would be chasing me for the new details.)

Said they were from Dodo wanting my date of birth , I gave them a false one and they asked about my internet service which I said was just fine and they hung up !

Said it was someone from Dodo.
I asked what it was about as I had cancelled my service with them. no reply. I asked two more times before they hung up.

Absolutely sh*t company who outsource 95% of their work offshore...

Avoid Dodo...there are better companies out there.

Got a call from this number at 5:37pm which is just about the time I reset my phone.
Usually look into numbers without bothering to answer and block if I see other people with the same problem.

Rang laughing in the background hung up after a few seconds.

It is a fraud phone I guess. I picked up and they said they are from Dodo, but they asked for my date of birth to confirm my identity. After I told them my DOB, they just asked whether Dodo service at my home is still working? and I replied "Yes". Then they just simply hung off.

Rang me several times, saying she is from Dodo, saying for security reasons wanting me to give her my personal details. Definitely a scam.

Dodo??? Not available upon call back - dead at other end. Perhaps just information gathering?
