rang me 3 times a day over about a week and use about 4 different numbers all starting with 9133 . same as everyone else they dont speak and hang up although one person said theyre from dodo and told me(angrily) to block the number if i dont want these calls

Say they are dodo I registered online they rang me but was very suspicious..
Could not give me a direct answer and ended up hanging up on me said they could not connect NBN here thing is it's connected already ..said they couldn't connect dodo at my house but next door in the same unit block is connected with dodo..

Received multiple calls over a few days from this number but every time I answered it just disconnected. I thought it would be telemarketing but after a while it got the better of me so I rang the number. Was greeted with a Dodo (electricity & gas) automated message to push certain buttons if a customer or other buttons if not.

(02) 9133 5695 rang me, at 10:46am 15th April 2021, claiming to be from DODO to update me to the NBN (aka No Bloody Network). I got very suspicious when I heard a rooster crowing in the background. I commented, however the caller ( male with an accent ) said he was working from home and yes, he had chooks. He tried to tell me that the fibre optic was faster than copper wire ( which is a blatant lie) both electrons and photons actually travel at speeds of 186,000 miles per second (approx) or 296,700 kilometres per hour ( approx).
I am an electronics techie since 1976, so he got no traction there. As soon as I told him he was full of it, he mumbled something, so I said goodbye and hung up on this mutant . What a waste of oxygen this person was. Obviously trying to scam me and he addressed my by my name. I called DODO, they agreed, it was a scammer. Be aware !

I have DODO electricity and NBN.

Tried to get me to sign up for Mobile as well.

Seemed legit as the guy knew what services i already subscribe to.

Still annoying because I've had the same conversation before and said "no".

They have rung twice so far and both times they never spoke. After a few seonds the line went dead. After reading the other comments about this number, I am going to block further calls.

As far as I could tell, not a scam, just Dodo upselling their products with some good deals. I called 13Dodo technical support after and they verified the number was from their outbound sales team and connected me with a different salesperson, who verified the identity of the first sales person (Benedict) who contacted me. This is just my experience though, I would still encourage you to call 13Dodo to verify this before providing any personal details if you are feeling unsure.

Caller: Dodo telemarketer

Rang 3 times and hung up and no voice message and 4th time I answered they told me my area dosnt have NBN and they have an upgraded service for me and I said well my NBN has been working fine for 3 months and then they tried to get me to change my phone, gas and electricity to them and I kept saying no then hung up.
They again rang me after that call and hung up.
I've blocked them now

The caller from this number if most irritating. Is there any way that the relevant authorities can trace the caller and fine the person please.

They have been ringing me everyday for probably 2 weeks now. If I'm not familiar with the number, I will let it go to my voicemail but they never ever left a message. Normal for telemarketeers or scams.
Yesterday I decided to answer but waited for them to say something. It was silence for half a min then they hung up. I picked up again today and it was also silence.

They just rang me, I said hello for 5 seconds and nothing back so just hung up.

Called last 3 days at same time. Goes to voicemail and they leave a black message for 3 seconds then hang up. Spam block this number

Got a missed call, as not a number I know I didn’t answer, they didn’t leave a message so probably a scam
