I called back number (02) 9124 5464 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Claimed to be investment group. Kept saying they were in Sydney, so clearly they weren’t

Answered a call from the above number;
Some asian sounding female (I think) trying to sell me shares in something.
Bloody hard to understand when they are talking into a tin can.
Number blocked.

Another scam number. No response when you call back. I believe these calls are coming through an exchange from overseas, using a local number in Australia. If I answer one of these types of calls, I always ask them for a number to call them back. They will never give you a number because there is none. They can get hold of you, but you can never call them and get hold of them. That way, they can take the money and run.

I've been called on 29/07/20, 11/08/20 and now 26/08/20. I am in New Zealand. At least my phone is smart enough to warn that the call is potential fraud so I never answer it. It would seem by the comments here that my phone is correct.

Phishing/scam call. Redirected number from overseas back through a local dialer.

Fraud DO NOT ANSWER

Rang twice in 3 days, didn't leave a message so assume Scam and blocked the number.

Seems like a Fraud, on dialing back it says "You've dialed an invalid carrier code"

Seems to be a bot that randomly dials numbers to collects what numbers are in use for a database to maybe sell. Number hangs up as soon as you answer and you cannot call back.

Would not stop calling, I thought it was a job opportunity call. But turns out it was a spam. Caller claim to be an investment group - African / Indian accent, asking for my email address to send me a link. I hang up.... supplying medical products in relation to COVID-19.

This number has called me in New Zealand twice in a week. The first time they asked for someone else by name (this is my mobile) and then hung up, second time there was an empty line for 10 seconds then a hang up.

Asked me to confirm my name and hung up. Called back, got message about not being authorised

Received a call from this number this afternoon, lady of African descent asking if I was interested in Covid-19 medication

Asked to confirm my name, sounds like an Indian accent so I said not who is this? And he hung up. Sounds like some scam
