It rang my phone a couple of times then stopped. My number is unlisted so it's probably some automated robot testing to see which numbers have real phones on them.

These calls are nothing to do with DNC registers. The DNC register is for legitimate marketing companies. When we get a call from people trying to sell us something, they are scammers and scammers don't operate legitimately.

I called back number (02) 9119 6595 rang 3 times then goes to busy tone.

Same scenario, rang twice then hung up. Obviously a scam caller.

Called at 1.30am....I returned the call the next day and it just rang out....with all the other complaints about this number why isn't it just disconnected

Yep, same here at 11.09pm, 2 rings then nothing, tried to call it back this morning, and busy tone.

Phone call at 5am... was not pleased

Called me at work number, 2 rings and thats it. called back and just busy tones

Rang at 1 am........It can't have rang to many times as thankfully I did not wake up, my CallerID revealed it the following day.

Caller id says +44291196595....that's explaining the early morning calls...mine came through at 3:00 am. Something wrong with there robot dialler to be phoning is numbers that time of day...I"ll just add that number to my block list
