Strategy: Selling something like a deal.
They want your credit card details.
Call the police and give the number.
A lot of scams looking around nowadays.
Mainly, they call you if you have a business.

Everyone is saying they are selling solar panels!
I got a scammer supposedly from "Girl Guides Australia" trying to sell me advertising. What a shame - would have loved some solar panels

Got a call as well, pretending to be a company that charges $1.90 a day to list my business on their website and promote it. Most likely scam caller, do not answer. call them back and get on their do not call registry

The exact number has been calling me non stop after sending a very enticing email promoting a 5-star, 3 bedroom private house for a week for $499. She wants your credit card details over the phone without giving you anything with fine print or a contract. You email back, and she calls non-stop! Even the website on her emails is wrong!

Was a caller from the Philippines asking for our state manager by his full name - which no-one ever does so my radar went up immediately - and also because I could hear a lot of call centre type noise in the background. He said he wanted to talk to him about the "Brownfields Project" (never heard of it). He said my manager was "involved with the Brownfield Project" (no he's not). I pushed for further information, he wouldn't (couldn't) give it, kept dancing around saying "Brownfield", then asked for my managers email address, which I refused to give, and as he wouldn't tell me what he wanted I hung up. I googled "Brownfield Project" and turns out it can be an investment strategy, or FDI, or software development, or engineering activity - none of which we are involved in. Scam artist and I'll be blocking his number!
