The above number has been calling my mobile twice daily for a few days now, and I've never answered their calls. Messages have been sent to my mobile but there's nothing there... just a whole lot of noise.
I have now blocked this caller from ring my mobile number. I suggest you all do the same. Thank goodness for sites like these.

Third time I have had a call from (02) 9119 2586, Called back and was put into a loop fairly obviously a number where they are getting paid by the second while you listen to the instruction. I just put the phone down quickly but it is a worry.

just called by this number - Indian accent - said "who is this" am on Do Not Call register - phone went dead

I don't ever answer the phone...until a message is posted.

This gets me into "bother " with my Family / Friends because they can't be bothered leavin'
a message.....I can't be that important in their lives !

This number call me today asking if anyone from our address had a vehicle accident in the last 2-3 years. I asked if this was a survey and she said yes. When I said no-one has had an accident, the lady (sounded indian) said "so sorry, there must be an error in my records"......strange. Why call for survey when you have info already? So tired of scammers.

I got a call from (02) 9119 2586 today, they hung up before I had a chance to answer. I tried to ring back but I got "The number you have dialled is not in service [etc]" thing too.

Definitely scammers.

Answered it and it just went to silence for about 10 - 15 secs and hung up, probably checking to see what time to ring back when some one is home

20141117: Called a registered DNC mobile number, I think he said Tamara Holdings, we have an real estate investment available for you. I then asked for their ABN (Australian Business Number. He tried to get an email address to give me all the information, I just asked for the ABN, then he told me I was ineligible for the investment....
SCAM

Phone nbr barred....sounds shonky

Caller asked for me by name, and proceeded with a spiel about "Medical Resort Group" (if I understood the Indian subcontinental accent correctly) and about medical tourism. At that point, it was apparent that the call was not permissible under the Do Not Call Register, and I terminated the call abruptly.

Tried to call the number back, and received a recorded message in a North American accent telling me that the number did not exist.

I dialed this number and received the following message:
"The number you have dialed is not in service, please check the number and try again (02) 9119 2586"

Claimed to be Telecom advisors and spoke with foreign language!!

SCAM.

Caller identified themselves as being from "Charity Choice" representing multiple charities.
While talking with them I dialled using a second phone line and received the following message:
"The number you have dialled is not in service, please check the number and try again (02) 9119 2586"
which says very loudly to me, SCAM.
