I'm sure this applies to all the trades - they call - let it ring once and then hang up = u call back at your cost.. they cite technical difficulties but that's crap!

SCAM. Although on the Do Not Call register I still get called. I do not answer unless I recognise the number. I block several calls each week.

Yep, called and hung up after two rings.

I didn't answer as I have caller ID and the number came up as overseas caller.

Got two off these yesterday, SO THE OTHER NUMBER, THAT rang back an hour lat, TO TRY AGAIN was (02) 4294 3504, just black list them

A lady called from (02) 9119 2577. She said she's from "Advance Result" or something... and they're doing a 'survey'... first question was "Do you think the cost of living has increased in the last 12 months"... I replied "Yes"... then she said "Are you paying off your mortgage or do you own your home"... I replied, "Where are you from again?"... She repeated the company, I asked where she got my details from and she said "Australia Post"... I said "Australia Post? Why would they give you my details? I did not let them release my details"... she said "Yes they did" so I replied "Where is your proof? Why do you have my details? I'm on the DO NOT CALL list"... then she hung up! DODGY!!!

Blinking pains in the proverbial. In the past four days I've had no less than three calls per day even after hours at 8pm. The phone rings and when I answer the call is disconnected! Can someone please do something about this pain in the a**** phone number
