I got a hang up call so called back number (02) 9112 9634 reached IVR for Kids With Cancer Foundation. it gave a 1800 000 592. I called that number and asked to be taken off the spam list.

I will not donate money to any cause over the phone. I will if it's genuine and I can see that on line or with The Kids with Cancer one, they often have a stand in my shopping centre so then I will buy a raffle ticket

When i answered, i could hear someone on the other end but they just hung up after a few seconds. Have now blocked the number.

I don't know the name of the person who rang me as I just don't answer the calls. Had 6 calls in 3 weeks and now ringing work. Lucky I have caller ID. I do donate money to the charities I want to donate to. Not pests.

Call every day an absolute nuisance.

I've had exactly the same with the Rural Fire Service NSW. Bought raffle tickets once and have been trying to get off their list for TEN years! Never, ever give them your details. Donate anonymously if you wish to help them out.

Received a call from this number so I answered it - and they hung up before I could even say hello!

Rang back - recorded message - Kids With Cancer Foundation Raffle - 1800 000 592.

I thought that it may be possible that it is just a machine calling numbers so that callers return call to get recorded message - who knows?? So I rang the 1800 number. Spoke to a lady called Lauren (very pleasant) who advised that they do not call people and hang up. I have received calls on no less than 6-7 occasions from this number.

I asked her was the number (02) 9112 9634 one of their numbers... she put me on hold, came back and confirmed... "yes, that is one of our telemarketers numbers..."... I replied... "well, you need to check your calls and your telemarketers as I received a 3 second call which when I answered was promptly hung up on".... I also suggested that she have her managers check this page and have a read of the extensive bad publicity that Kids With Cancer Foundation is receiving .... such a shame :-(

So sad that such a good cause is being portrayed so badly due to marketing methods.

Have been calling me for years. Donated once in Chadstone and now I’ve been haunted by them ever since. Told them a few times to take my number off their system but clearly that didn’t work. It’s so annoying. It’s putting me off from ever donate to anything ever again.
