I had the same experience. I think it's a middle man attack to phish for your info and piggy back on your details to take the funds. They gave one name when returning the call and a different name when I asked again for their name 3 minutes later. I gave no additional information during the call to identify myself. BEWARE!!!!

This is a legitimate number from the NDIS. I am in contact with the NDIS on a daily basis and this is their call Centre in Sydney. If a call drops out from the NDIS 1800 800 110) they will often call back from this number.

No it’s actually not …I confirmed with NDIS that the is not their number and she confirmed also that they always call from a private number.

Scam ! Quickly hung up. NDIS will always send you a email first informing you they will be calling you. I had no email notifying me of an impending call from them. Be aware ! These scammers are very convincing.

NDIA called my business regarding enquiries. I was unsure if it was legitimate so I didn't give any personal details. They understood this and said they would send an email requesting details. I soon received a legitimate email from their official email address.

Too many calls from this number without the usual SMS warning BUT they know all my details.. an Indian woman asked who my plan management company was and within an hour got an email from the plan management company informing me of a new plan. Ndis are yet to implement the plan almost two months on...my previous plan was only done six months prior. Ndis has yet to address this AT ALL, complaints made to the ndis safeguards commission and ndis fraud department. I have requested a new ndis number as if this kind of sophisticated hack happened with my tax file number or DL number, that's exactly what would happen. Are they pocketing the left over funds by somehow doing new plans and not rolling over unused funds? It was almost two hundred thousand dollars in lost funding with the new plan dropping unbeknownst to the ndis

I ignored the call from this number, as it was unrecognised. A short time later I got a legitimate email from the NDIS to say they had tried contacting me via phone, but I hadn't answered and asked me to call back. The email was sent in reply to an email I had sent them, so I feel it was a legitimate call

NDIS scam call asked me if I have kids if you are calling from ndis you would have my details

Got a call from this number, the person on the other end of the line just kept saying hello, then hung up

They have an IVR, and it sounds legitimate, but when I spoke to them when I rang back, it was not convincing

I reported it to the NDIA

Said NDIS but sounds weird as they always call my wife...
