Claimed to be NDIS, but it’s not.

So NDIS send a text and call from a private number and that has been verified by the NDIS.

Anything that comes from a non private number without an offical message confirming they are going to make the call is a scam. Just remember how sophisticated scammers are in this day and age. Who better to prey on than the vulnerable or people with disabilities ?
This is confirmed by NDIS & has been reported.
I think anyone who refutes this is just part of the scam and you all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Anything else is a scam and I would believe part of committing fraud and or a scam. Been reported to the NDIS complaints and ombudsman for investigation.

If you guys ever have a thought to just call this number back you’d realise this number isn’t a scam and it’s actually NDIS. Please stop saying numbers are scams if you can’t prove it otherwise. This is annoying as sh*t trying to figure out if numbers are scammers while yall are just calling anyone a scammer without calling the number back.

No voice message left. How do a Support Coordinator know who called and for which client. No text message, voice message or email. Missed call from this number and when you call them the call centre cannot provide any information - who called and for what? Very frustrating.

umm... Not a scam at the moment that is the number that comes up when someone from the ndis makes an outbound call. Maybe call the number back and you will hear. Maybe they can't help you because you don't provide enough info that they confirm who they are talking?.

It’s a scam ! Working in the industry you know the question format that a true NDIS staff would use . lol This is what happens when when the government make it so easy for unqualified people to work in call centres .

Missed call left a message saying they’re ndis an Indian woman
Answered the next call and no one spoke, they were recording my voice and playing it back to me probably to use my voice to authenticate and scam me and others so I coughed snd my cough played back, and hung up.

Missed a call from this number and, as others have reported, when return call made seemed to be put through to NDIS National Contact Centre... but there is no way of knowing whether this is a valid number or an elaborate scam. I would be very wary if providing any sensitive information if called from this number just in case. If it is a genuine number, NDIS should know better, especially when they conduct laborious verification processes for people contacting them.

Legit NDIS caller, was able to give me invoice number and customer name - but only after I gave her my name and email which is unsettling

These jokers called me, then messaged me 2 times. Both I didn’t answer. Don’t know anyone in Sydney with this number..
THE NDIS ALWAYS MESSAGES YOU SAYING 5GEY WILL CALL FROM AN UNKNOWN NUMBER WITH THE HOUR.
ITS AN 1800 number.
NOT THIS NUMBER… 😡😡😡😡. DO NOT…..!! GIVE DETAILS TO THESE A@HOLES…
