(02) 9099 5779 They phoned my house phone and mobile at precisely the same moment ; played a recorded message announcing themselves as the Tax Office saying I'd neglected to send tax docs, had returned mail twice etc. I hung up then, assuming it to be phishing.

Received a recorded message stating that there is a warrant out for my arrest if I don't provide them with my bank details and TFN :).

Recorded message from Tax Office regarding overdue tax. Mail returned unanswered, etc. Threatening legal action and have been put on delinquent list. Advised I should call above number.

Yep we just got this answering machine message from an automated voice saying they were from the Taxation office & there was a warrant for our arrest etc too! Such scammers!
