Scam .....asks about some traffic accident Told him to P/O and hung up,,,,, got similar call few months back after listing on gumtree

Scam. Called today from this number (02) 9099 1646), said he (Ali) was from RTA regarding a traffic accident I was in. Knew my location which is a bit freaky! Happily gave me the number to call him back - which I wont!

Some Indian from India with a crappy English and bad grammar. He wants to know about my car accident. I said I never had any accident and am not falling for any scammers.
He started swearing and then I had to hang up on him sorry....

They don't introduce themselves and ask right away about an accident last year. I request a date and they state it was either this year or last. I request a name and company, a pause and then hang up. Definitely a scam and a the background noise is of a call centre. Accent of caller was of Indian origin.

Claimed to be from the Road Traffic Aurhority. Asked about a road traffic crash. We are in QLD he's in NSW. DONT give out your personal details

Two calls from "Road Traffic Management" working with some insurance company name. Sounded Indian. Asking about a traffic accident I recently had. Does anyone actually fall for this crap?

Scam. I called back this number to tell them off

I received a call from this number 3 times now.
New Australian voice asked me that a recent traffic accident I haven't had one for years he was surprised and hung up.

A person by the name of Alex Harrison rang up and indicated he was from Road Traffic Authority and wished to discuss the compensation I received from a recent traffic accident.
I indicated I was not in a recent traffic accident and asked for his full name and company name. He then disconnected the call.
SCAM!!!!
