This joker has been going since 2016 with the same number what is being done about him
Just gat a scam call from him stating he was from the RMS and wanted to talk about an accident I had where someone ran into me. Never happened.
asked him to explain what he wanted and it got to hard for him so he hung up

Wants to help me get 25% off my electricity bill.

some guy called me from hydro energy saver and told me about a device that could save me 35% on my electric bill. He gave me all of the info. I checked it out. Then they called me back. so in short I ordered the device and I got the device and it works great no problems what so ever. So I recommend this device for people who are paying so much money for there electric bill. The device cost me $219 but I'm happy with the service.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent. Persistently kept calling and I told him I don’t want to speak to you stop calling me and he was saying but I want to talk to you. Knew from the get go it was a scammer.

Indian male with call center in background. Offering " power saver devices for specially targetted customers so they can save/ get rebate of 25% of expensive energy costs without changing energy provider"
Cost..$219 Payable COD at Aust Post/ 5 year program
Device promises to plug into wall inside and reduce/ prevent waste the amount of power used by your appliences (using a common misunderstanding about power correction factors )
Drops the name of the Australian energy market commission AEMC frequently and website given lists a similar address to them. Very insistent but doesn't have real info and tries to extract it.
The "phone me when you've checked us out" number given was (02) 8073 0504, but contact number on the given website is (02) 9098 4480
I remembered this from the accident scam for the same technique and can't believe they are still on the same number.
He'd be quite convincing to people with less suspicious natures..

One guy just rang me from this number. Indian or somewhere’s accent. He tried to promote SIM card plan. After I rejected him, he started to my name and information. I asked him where he got my number and he said he liked me. WTF?! I hang up and blocked him straightway!

this scumbag has taken all my information while pretending to be a Telstra employee. I have notified the AFP Crime Stopper. Hope he gets arrested. It shouldn't be too much difficult

Difficult to understand but muffled Indian saying he had some great phone plan. I asked for information about where he was calling from or how he got my number and he started laughing.

Very bad english, hard to understand, something about car accident. Hung up on him as I don't have a car. Scammer got my number from gumtree as I've just posted a car ad an hour before the call.

Had a few missed call from this number, a quick Google search brought me to this forum.

Answered the call the next day and it was exactly that, a foreign bloke claiming to be from RMS wanting to discuss a car accident. Quickly hung up when I starting asking questions.

I had advertised a crashed car on the gumtree classifieds, that's when the calls started...

Just had the same caller ring me. An Indian guy saying he was from some traffic management company.

seems they are getting bolder, they are calling consistently. I hate the scammers

This guy rang me said I had a car accident, which I did last week, he must of seen my smashed car up for sale, he said he is on behalf of insurence company. I said I don’t need to speak about the accident again it’s been resolved which it was. I’m sure he would of asked me for the excess payment or my bank details or something. DEFINATLY A SCAM CALLER
