I missed a call from this number and looked up Rev Aust.

What is it with the Rural Fire Service Call Centres, they chop and change numbers, even the first four numbers, sometimes quite dramatically. Telstra and the other telcos should barr them from ever having accounts/numbers with them.

Caller claims to be ringing on behalf or New South Wales Rural Fire Service and gets aggressive and pushing when told no. Supposedly selling raffle tickets and wants to send them out.

how great it is having a place like this one which can help shed
some light on annoying calls such as this...i don't begrudge any charity asking
for help...but strongly object to obnoxious aggressive persons demanding my
support...cheers and thanks for somewhere to vent and maybe help someone
else block another one of these frustrating "scam" outlets.

Yes, me too. Have been away for 3 weeks and my message bank was chokkers with (02) 9094 2415 confirmed callers are Rural Fire Brigate service centre.........I know for a fact the Fireies get hardly zilch from monies donated.

I got this number ringing me I don't answer if it's important they will leave a message I'm sick of people asking to buy tickets no I'm not interested all have the extra cash.

Yeah, they have been ringing me every day since 17 January and I have not picked up the phone. Thanks for letting us know who they are.

It's rural fire services collecting donations and they are nothing but a bunch of pests. I've spoken with their manager twice and he assured me that my number would be removed but it was a lie.

The annoying aspect of this is that they call every day on my landline. I never answer but they just keep on calling.

Got a call from this number on my land line today, they didn't leave a message. So I called back with the single call number block through Telstra (add 1831 before the number dialed). I got a message about the Fire Brigade selling tickets and hung-up. Now if only I could outright block their number from calling back...

They are calling every day, I just hang up on them without even saying hello ! Still it goes on, how thick are these people ??

Hi , I am continually getting calls from this number, we have searched rev Australia, and found its rural fire brigade, raising money, I have told them numerous times to stop calling me, I don't have any money so leave me alone. I, sorry I bought a raffle ticket some years go at a market cause it's caused nothing but nuisance calls for years. Never again, why don't they ring Malcolm Turnbull or Barnaby Joyce. Buzz off.

I have this number barred on my landline after several calls and no message left. Infact I have 30 different numbers barred. If they don't leave a message they don't want anything.
The call centres need to learn 'No' means NO!!!!

i underwent 10 hours of surgery tuesday last week and they called on the wednesday (while i was in icu) they were asked them to stop pestering me but were rude and called again while i was in hospital and now today.
no point blocking them, they will use a different number.

The answer to the calls is say you a volunteer fire fighter. I am and I told them when they called and I wont get another call as they said I have given enough of my time already. Which is completely true. They guy hung up very quick from the call.
