The line was very broken but the person said they were from a company that cleans ducted air conditioners

Call, picked up and there was a gap before the call connected. I was anticipating a scammer as that’s usually the way they start. Eventually a guy said hello and I “sheepishly “ said hello back as I knew something was up. I guess that caught the guy off guard and he stuttered and stammered with an I’m and ahh here and there and then eventually just hung up. He didn’t get one word out other than hello. Just I’m, er, ah, I’m and then hung up!

No answer when I picked up. Most likely scammer, possibly checking for active phone numbers.

Answered as was expecting another call at the time. Took a few seconds to connect, could hear talking in background like call centre or similar, then a male with an Indian accent said he was from *something or other* 'cleaning service'. I just hung up
