indian person, claiming to be from telstra, telling me my PC has been hacked, and asked me to allow him to access my PC to clean it up, when I told him I was a cyber security engineer, he hung up

I have this site just about permanently open and check the number before the phone rings out, i.e. don't answer.

Just replace the number and key in the calling number. There is also some information how often the number was searched in the last few days.

Claiming to be Telstra & that my internet service was on Public not Private setting. He wanted me to go in & make some setting changes

Apparently he was from commonwealth bank and asking about an $800 transaction. Noise all throughout the back ground. Hung up on me when I told him this wasn't a commonwealth bank number he was calling from 😅

Tried to scam me, pretended to be from commbank but couldn't provide any actual details

Called today and yesterday. Sounds like a busy call centre but no one spoke. Other reports on this number suggest this is a scam call.

Sounded like an indian call center. Knew my first name. Said it was a call from telstra about my internet IP. I hung up.

I answered, but after a ding-dong sound, it hung up. I think it's scam call.

call was auto blocked by Telstra, caller did not leave a message. Might call them back from a Telstra public payphone as it is a free call, and I would be protected from scams as I would not tell them my mobile number.

Some useless wanker calling several times during the day,the answering machine does the answering,no message left got to be a Fwitt or deadsh*t idiot with nothing better to do,so much for the DNC register and useless Telstra blocking the calls,makes you wonder if some jerk at Telstra is selling my phone number,food for thought i would say

Someone scamming saying they are from westpac and that you have $1000 taken out of your account and wanting you to go to a website. Heavy Indian accent.
