Indian guy called Steven Parker telling me my internet was hacked. Played along as long as I could before he realised and hung up

Scam call pretending to be TELSTRA about NBN security. Told them not interested and hung up after they wanted me to give them access remotely to laptop to “fix an issue”. They rang back told them to stop calling or I’ll report them. He swore at me so I swore back and hung up. Called a third time from a different number. My son told them he couldn’t hear them to speak up. He called my son a moron!

Claimed to be from the commonwealth bank, and claimed payments were being made from my anz account to commonwealth account

Indian accent Told me he was phoning on behalf of my daughter because she told him "phone my mum" Asked whicj daughter and he said he didnt want to give me her name just asked to speak to me.. He hung up when I kept asking her name

I answered with my work greeting as I thought it was a work call, they hung up straight away afterwards. Realised it was a scam call after researching the number.

Yes called back, a racist Indian was on the line who hated both Africans and white people.

Fake Amazon Prime renewal call, if you press 1 from the auto prompt you get transferred through to a dodgy Indian call centre. I had a similar call from "ebay" and followed the prompts, then when I made it to a "customer service operator" I asked if this was the ebay scam, which the woman happily told me it was.

Scammer from commbank security said funds had been taken out of my account. Had an Asian accent saying they were transferring me to a secured line to get detailed and I had half an hour or the funds were being taken out of my account. Have rung bank confirmed it’s a scam

Luckily Apple silences unknown callers which means I can check.

Answered with the microphone muted - heard some scuffle and noise in the background and then they hung up without speaking

Received Spam calls to my mobile phone twice in a day. Did not leave message. Pretty sure Spam!

Someone claiming to be from NBN security, the accent is hard to understand, seems like someone was reading a note. And they know my account name used to be. After I said I don't have NBN, just cut off the call.

Hysterically we still can't get NBN in this area. I laughed and laughed and laughed

Yep I got this number come through but didnt pick up. Showed up as Sydney.

Numerous complaints about this number being a scammer have been posted on Reverse Australia and Number Lookup.
The number has been reported, blocked and deleted.

I didn't pick up because my phone alerted me it was potential fraud. Prior to this call I received a call from another number who left a message saying they were from Amazon and I owed them $700 for an iPhone!
