Recorded message - stated they were Amazon about a Apple I phone purchase... and then asked you to select a number to connect to a help desk.... SCAM.....

An Indian accent guy called on my wife’s phone saying that our wifi has been trying to hack by someone else. I talked to him and he told me to turn on my Laptop and type Anydesk.com on run command. I typed it and waited as I found it suspicious. I made him wait stating my laptop is slow. Made him wait for 10 minutes and then I hung up. He was trying to call again but we didn’t receive.

Wanted to inform me of a solar rebate

Said they were from Vodafone asking about my internet connection. You could hear the catering in the back and the smell of curry through the phone. I laughed and the said “why are you laughing like a ho” and hung up.

Woman from a noisy call centre claiming to represent NBN Co. I couldn’t understand her so I asked her to repeat from the start and she went off at me…why cant you understand me ….blah, blah 😂 Rank amateur scammers

I do not answer calls if I do not know the number. I look the number up on this site. If no message is left I am highly suspicious of the caller.

Foreign accent, said he was from Telstra NBN. Told him I would put my son on who works for Telstra and he hung up!!!!

Android Phone did not even let call ring straight to spam & blocked

Claimed to be Amazon calling to report a purchase on my account for an iPhone 11 and I'm at risk of losing $700+. Made no sense. I said I suspect this is a scam and asked why they'd call me on a Saturday instead of holding the purchase and emailing from a verified Amazon email address like usual process. The lady said "mam I don't care what you believe" to which I cut her off, saying "excuse me but you called ME with a scam on a weekend and are wasting my time". She hung up. Honestly human equivalent of a haemorrhoid.

Has called numerous times over last few days. Obviously a scam/nuisance call center.

At 4 pm today, I received an automated message that an ebay purchase of $299.00 has been made in my name and that the funds will be 'automatically withdrawn'. I panicked somewhat and called them dialing option 1 (if I did not make the purchase), however, my call wasn't redirected (it kept repeating the options). I then remembered that I never saved my card number at ebay and knew that it was a scam. Why are these heartless imbeciles allowed to walk free in our society? Karma is going to bite them in the arse!

Claimed to be calling from eBay to cancel an order. I suspected the caller and reversed question her and immidiately she got scared and hung up the phone.

Automated message said they were from Ebay....needed to press 1 to continue. .....

I didn't pick it up the call but is the second time from Sidney... they left a message and was seeing that was suspicious $700 gift card that I bought and press 1 for ignore or 2 for let through the money in my account

Three scam calls in 10 minutes from various numbers including this one all listed on this useful site from "Amazon" with an automated message. Now blocked but the Do Not Call register doesn't seem to be working properly.
