Caller: Amazon prime apparently

Called to say my Amazon prime account would be debited of 39 dollars. I don’t have an Amazon account

Claiming to be Commonwealth bank. Stating someone from California try to take money out of my account.

Caller: Purportedly from ebay Australia

Caller indicated that there had been a purchase of a $500 gift card on my account by someone purportedly from California. When I checked my account, there was no such transaction. It is likely that the caller wanted my bank account details but I didn't give him a chance to ask for them.

Claiming to be from my internet provider about my connection - SCAM!

Called and hung up on me immediately after I answered the call.

Said he was from Telstra internet. I dont have Telstra internet. Was not a sales call and when I started questioning him he hung up. There was a lot of noise behind him too - very busy indian scammer call centre by the sounds of the accents.

Caller purportedly calling from the Australian Cyber Security Centre saying my mobile number was being used to call outside of Australia. Caller hung up as soon as I started asking questions.

Another scammer's number with the 02 9071 XXXX prefix.

Claims to be ebay customer support - got angry when i told them i wasn't born yesterday and started hurling abuse at me

Called, didn't leave a message. Tried to call back and does not connect. Based on the comments on this page definitely a scam caller, number blocked

Tried to tell me there was a fraudulent withdrawal from my CBA account. Strange that I don't have such an account. Hung up when I told him it was all good

They called asking to speak to the domain owner.

After 10 minutes of me telling them to stop calling they then threatened to write a bad review. Funny thing is there is no website or company on the domain.

They refuse to listen.

Claimed to be from Amazon and were renewing my account. I don't have one .

Called proporting to be from Telstra to rectify a IP security issue. Would not provide any details about what Telstra office they were with or provide their ID or contact number. When I told him I suspected he was a scammer, he hung up. looking at the other comments here, looks like I was correct.
