He wanted me to download an app and install it to my phone. This app conect his pc to my phone. I refused obviously.

Pretending to be Telstra and asked for my personal details to verify identity. I gave them fake details and wasted 20mins of their time

I got this call and sound like an indian girl. Please be careful with these indian hey just wanted to access my computer.

I received several calls in a few mins. This one is one of them. The guy had an Indian accent saying my internet connect was not secure and he wanted to provide a solution. I just hang up.

Indian man claiming to be from Commonwealth Bank asking if I authorised a payment to travel company. I asked him to email me the information and he hung up.

Computer voice saying gmail account has been comprimised. Total scam do not give out your personal information

Rings three times, hangs up, no message. Scam. Blocked.

Indian accent from what sounded like a call center, and saying they were from Telstra, and said my computer had been infected whilst using the internet. I teminated the call.

Indian call scammers pretending to be Amazon…they will try and get you to install team-viewer or similar and take control of phone or computer to clear out accounts…just hang up and stay safe

Scam call trying to claim problems with internet

An Indian accent. The man said he was from Telstra and noticed my internet has been dropping out past few days and wanted to know if I’ve made any changes lately. I was suspicious because I don’t think Telstra would ring me because of that anyway. I would have to ring Telstra to advise of my problem, they wouldn’t contact me…..so I told him I would get my husband to call Telstra to discuss. He then said “ but your phone number is linked to your account”. I told him again that I would get my husband to call Telstra to discuss and that I had to go. He was persistent but polite and wished me a good day. He was ringing from a noisy call centre. Lots of voices in the background.
