Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Scam caller - pretending to be from Commonwealth Bank calling about a fraudulent transfer to the USA asking to verify myself.

took the call, sound in the background call centre and asked him if this is a scam call then I hung up.
3 seconds later same caller I hung up
then he called from these numbers all within 5 minutes

dangerous scammer, hang up immediately, DO NOT answer questions or download/install software

I receive calls from this number, and others mentioned in one of the above comments, almost daily. I answered once weeks ago because I thought it was a plumber returning my call, and it was an Indian lady who knew my name and said that she was with my electricity company. I hung up straight away but they call back constantly.

Caller: Random Stranger

Said they were Visa/Mastercard and denoting $13xx from my account. Asked me to go to Apple apps and download Anydesk Remote Desktop to “help me”. when ever some asks for remote access to your computer/iPad/phone you KNOW it’s a scam. Hang up.

Caller: Indian woman claimed to be from Amazon

Said that my home network was slowing down because of “other people using my wifi password”, I replied that it was not the case, she then asked how many devices were connected. After I said that had nothing to do with her or anyone else, she hung up.

Close to 7pm when this phone number tried calling only to be blocked automatically as not a known number.

See now it is a scammer call!

Claimed to be calling about my telstra internet account. Spam/phishing scam.

My Amazon account will be auto renewed if I don't cancel, I don't have an Amazon account

Called twice, hung up no one spoke..

Call quality was bad, and sounded like a call center

SCAM - Pretending to be electricity and gas broker looking for better deal offering from same energy provider

SCAM CALLER ALERT: This number called my partner claiming they were from commonwealth Bank they had a Indian accent claiming that my partner was getting hacked from a number of countries and started asking for my partners account information lucky I searched the number and found a number of scam complaints because my partner was seconds to giving private information.

Called saying the they were from Amazon, said that I had refund money to collect . What a joke I have never used the site .
