'telstra billing department' lots of background noise so seemed very dodgy as they asked to speak to my middle name and as soon as I questioned them they hung up

Scam dead silence when answered

Said he was from commonwealth bank and my Visa card has been compromised, even knew the 1st four digits of the card. I hung up on him.

Caller: They said from Amazon subscription service

Scam. They told you your Amazon Prime service is exprired and asked you to renew on the phone. I don't have any Amazon Prime subscriptions.

I didn't answer the call but called them back. Unable to connect despite multiple tries. Scam for sure!

Indian call centre pretends to be from TELSTRA ..but I dont have a telstra account!!
I now just ask jokingly if they are going to disconnect me again?...and guess what? They just hang up !
So rude!

Caller: Chinese embassy

Said Chinese embassy then spoke in Chinese so just hung up and blocked

What the f*ck is the government doing to stop these f*ckwits?

Caller said that my Visa and Mastercard needed topping up. Second time I have received this call from this number. Blocked this time.

Pick up and you are faced with silence then disconnection. Clear scam.

Missed call, no message left. Checked here... now blocked.

I answered expecting a pregnant pause while I was connected to a call centre in Mumbai. Eventually it hung up. The computer was busy or the girl at the other end recognised me. Add to the scammer list.........

Scam call, she said she was from Telstra and told me few days ago my internet was broken (this is True) and now my information was leaked from internet. i interruped her and told her my internert provider is not telstra, she said yes but all internet are under telstra (bullsh*t). i told her i will call my provider to confirm and she hang up the call. HAHA

Calls, but there's no one there. Dead silence on the other end, then hangs up after 10 seconds

Robotic recording calling to say that they are from National Broadband Network and that our home internet services will be disconnected within 24 hours and to press 1 to connect to technician. Looking at previous comments looks like this number is being recycled by scammer pretending to be different companies like CBA, Telstra. Be aware of this number.
