Caller: Scam

Said they were from Visa enterprise department. I wanted to play along but the scammer hung up on me before I had the chance.

Caller: Bank security department

Asking to download an app. Of course it is scam.

“Hello this is Nancy from bank security department” - obvious scam

Caller: Telstra

said he was Martin Indian accent
Telstra Melbourne employee id #C181800
and he had a screaming child in the background

They didn't leave message therefore treat as spam and blocked the number

Calling from NBN connection with an Indian ancient lady asking the boardband connection. Then she hang up.

Caller: Indian call centre using a Sydney number.

Indian call centre "John Wilson" from Telstra saying my internet is being shared by others. Alarm bells in my head started ringing when he wanted me to install "Anydesk". I said NO. He swore at me and hung up.

Caller: Scam recorded msg from “eBay”

Recorded message played alleging an eBay gift card payment will be charged to my account. Total scam

Stated was from comm bank. Female Indian accent from obvious noisey call centre. Wanting me to confirm 800 payment. SCAM

Caller: A man with Indian accent who said cyber security department but when I heard it I hang up

Scammers of course be alert be scams aware

Said he was from NBN. Wanted me to speak to his supervisor about intrusions on my internet line "without [my] knowledge or permission". Sounded like he was reading from a script. I told him I had a meeting and asked if I could call him back. He didn't like that so I hung up.

Scam or fake

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra - SCAM

Long moments of nothing. Then introduced himself as Jordan from Telstra. Asked if he was speaking to the person paying the bills. When I replied Yes, he immediately hung up. I knew it was a scam, I don't have Telstra anything. Thought I would see where it would take me, but I think he realised I was onto him. To test the number I called back. it did not connect.

Tried to get me to download an app; apparently my internet connection was being hijacked for 'illegal purposes'. I am not with Telstra so strung him along to see how far he would go I then pulled him up for being a scammer and he started swearing at me haha

He tried to get me too he is really bad at scamming as I am not with Telstra haha! Reported him on 'Scamwatch'
