Caller: "NBN"

They were going to upgrade my connection for Free! Interesting since I don't have an NBN connection.

Called me on mobile phone. Claimed there had been a series of suspicious payments on my visa / mastercard card(s) made over the internet and were calling to verify. They were phishing for personal details and claimed that they couldn't progress with the call unless we verified our card details (which I presume would translate to us giving them our credit card details). When we asked where they were calling from, they claimed to be working for all the major banks - NAB, ANZ, etc.Clearly a scam.

Just silence on the other end

Let it ring out, advised a message, none left in message bank.

Caller: Paul? He said

He came off very suspiciously, and hung up as soon as I questioned him about it

Called me, then said “how can I help you?”
Then proceeded to tell me that my visa/Mastercard had been hacked by John in the US.
100% scam.
He hung up on me when I wouldn’t verify my name.

Left a message about my Mastercard and unusual activity. I do not own a mastercard

Immediate hang up

Caller: Jason Parker

Said he was calling from Ebay and that there has been a purchase for a voucher of $500 from my IP Address. If this was me? - Well, obviousely not. - Apperantly my IP address has been compromised.
It screemed "SCAM" at me, but when I said I didn't have time now they said we can arrange a time for a call back and they actually called back... then I googled. Big mob of scam

Calling from Telstra regarding my NBN. Have received several calls: My computer is connecting to foreign IP addresses and malware has been downloaded onto my computer and the Government has passed legislation recently that it is illegal to have malware on your computer. or There is something wrong with my internet connection and it is sending error messages.

Scam. Amazon payment scam

Say they are from Telstra and trying fix the problem with my internet connection so protect my personal details. I asked them to provide their identity, the person hand up! I believe that It is a scam!

Caller: "NBN"

Said they were calling from NBN and when I expressed I could not speak, threatened to call the police on me.

I asked who was calling again, to which the reply was "See now you're interested". I said "No, I just wanted to confirm your details for when I contact the police. They then hung up.

Keeps calling, does not leave a message. Very annoying.

Missed call, no message left. Called back, got engaged signal.
