Claiming to be Amazon

Didn’t even verify my details. Claimed to be calling from Mastercard/visa and said that an amount of x had been spent with x company is this correct? I just hung up. It’s not Chinese spam. Was an Indian call centre?

This was not a number that I knew and Did not leave message, figured it was a scam call so googled it and found these other comments from people.

Didn't answer, just checked the number on this site and blocked it.

Tried to say I ordered an iPad..

Caller: Claimed to be PayPal Fraud Detection

'Oliver' from 'PayPal Fraud Detection'. Sounded out of breath and like he was walking. Said that they were verifying a $700 purchase of Bitcoin from my PayPal account. Knew my correct full name, including surname. Fraud call, though.

I have blocked this scam caller after a call today. However, my question is, what are the authorities or Telco's doing about this known perpetrator. This is a joke and I no longer answer any calls that are either not known to me if on my land line, or not in my contact lists on my mobile. My answering machine message states that exactly! Also I will not return ANY caller that does not leave a message. Sad hey? where are we headed??

Caller: Claimed to be Vodafone

Answered a call from this number today to hear a recorded message saying "this is vodafone, your phone is going to stop working...bah blah blah'. Scam call. Hung up immediately and this nuisance is now blocked.

Did not answer no message left a call notification came up on my apple phone which I pressed and it began to call back which I did not want Be careful with this number

Tried the scam to get me to reveal my credit card details.....

Scam call said money was taken out of my Visa / Mastercard it was a recorded message and to push 1 on the telephone i hung up had a few of these calls over the last couple of days

claimed someone used my ebay account to buy a $400 gift card for someone in California and I live in Sydney Australia

Problem was when he tried to sound credible and quiz me on my name and address it was not me, so he hung up
dont answer this number and block immediately

call hangs up immeditealy on answer or callback, probably verfying active numbers so best you do not interact.

I received a call from (02) 9071 0205 claimed to be a master/visa card security group saying someone has attempted to take $500 from my account

claiming to be Telstra
