Called 5 times today, and on other days. Other sites tell me it is likely to be a scam spoofing my number. Got a voice message where a woman with a foreign accent repeatedly said my name and asked if it was me but did not introduce themselves or ask for a call back.

Caller: Man with Indian accent

Man caller stated I had been subject to a big loss on bitcoin trading and he was from an insurance company that is going to cover my loss. I had an excess to pay and may lose my no claim bonus but my losses will not be catastrophic. Wow, I felt comforted by his kindness. He said the current policy excess will be $500 and for me to pay prior to my loss refund. WTF. He seemed disapointed when I told him to return the balance to me after deducting the $500 excess. Like Jeckyll & Hyde he slowly became aggressive, eventually saying I was wasting his time before rudely swearing at me and hanging up. I've never invested in crypto currency but recently surfed the net making enquiries on the subject and now I'm frightened off for life!

This number called me, he knew my name before I said anything. He asked if I like wine and said they have a deal on Shiraz at the moment and said that’s what you drink yes, I said no. I said I wasn’t interested and he continued to talk over me. I hung up on him as he wouldn’t acknowledge that I had said no. I blocked the number.

9071 and 9070 numbers. Have called every day for 5 days - 6 different numbers. Say they are from a financial company and that I have been subject of some issue to do with my trading. I have never traded. Have spoken to 3 of them. THEY WILL NOT STOP TALKING OVER ME. I have blocked each number. It sounds like a call centre noise. They have my name and call my by my first name. Obviously I'm not going to discuss anything financial with some random person. I hang up and block - then they call with a different number. If you call the number back, you get a US accented message back thanking you for calling the directory along with on hold music.

Called me twice from this number today. A man with foreign accent told me that according to their database, I was....
I told him stop calling me, then hang up.

Number keeps ringing my mobile. Woman leaves message saying my name but nothing else. Dodgy

Got a call from a male with a foreign accent from NSW saying he was from a financial recovery company….I hung up!

Called me today saying I had been scammed on bitcoin, shares etc - I hung up on her. Then they called again as I was blocking the number. SCAMMERS

A woman called and said "hello" and then horribly mispronounced my name. 99.9% sure this was a scam.

Advised I was the victim of online scam asked if I had purchased bitcoin I ended the call
