Called pretending to be from the ATO trying to cancel my ABN. Really f*cked up, yeh?

Rang and didn’t leave msg

Caller: "Telstra"

Advised they were from Telstra and would offer 50% discount on my mobile bill. They asked me to confirm my DOB for their records, and when I said if they checked their records they would know I am not with Telstra, they hung up.

Have some fun and waste their time, you could actually save an elderly scam victim that way...

nbn internet scam

Scam recorded message saying my NBN will be disconnected within 72 hours and to discuss with a scammer.

Claiming to be from Telstra

Called, did not answer and no message left so did not ring back, too easy. May even block.

Rang, no ID no message left. My phone automatically blocks unknown contacts

After reading these comments, I immediately blocked the caller

Claimed to be NBN advising me , my internet was being hacked from California. Female voice in a call centre. She sounded indian

said illegal activity overeas

Telling me Amazon was going to charge $99.95 - scam
