Caller: Male caller This call showed as coming from Sydney NSW. When I answered a man's voice with an Indian accent began telling me that he was from Telstra and there was a problem with my internet connection and that someone else was using my account. I replied that as far as I was aware there was no problem with my account (there was certainly no evidence of anything wrong) and that I didn't wish to pursue the matter. I strongly suspect that it was a scam call of some kind.

Caller: Male See comment from Del above. I had exactly the same experience. Indian accent. Said his name was Martin Williams from Telstra. Asked him for his Telstra ID and he quoted me back my mobile. At that point had the pleasure of telling him "to F off, you lying POS"

Caller: Male caller Caller with Indian accent - said he was from NBN and advised me that someone from California was 'hacking' my internet and he could help me fix it. Definitely a scam and I told him 'I'm not stupid mate' to which he called me stupid and I'm an idiot and promptly ended the call. SCAM ALERT

Caller: ‘ Peter from telstra’ Said he was Peter from Telstra calling about a problem with customer internet connection. I explained we don’t use Telstra. He continued to insist and asked me location questions. I asked him for my customer details before giving any personal detail - he hung up. Scam.
