Indian calling from "Commonwealth Bank" with regards to the International payment for $499 to a US Bank account. (I dont have a commonwealth bank account)

Call came through on a Saturday morning, which itself is unusual. Upon answering a short computerised message played, claiming to be from PayPal alerting me to a suspect purchase of $299 and suggesting I dial 1 to discuss. I hung up, logged on to my PayPal account to find everything in perfect order. As suspected, an obvious attempt to scam. Number is now blocked.

Delay in talking can hear call centre in background then Indian woman came on, claiming to be from the Visa security deptartment. I hung up as not going to talk to these scammers all day every day they try

Caller: Shirleen

The usual noisy call centre background and after 4 hello's an Indian female, who claimed her name was Shirleen, said she was calling from the NBN. As this is the 5th type of call in the last 36 hrs I told her to stop calling and bothering me as I'm not interested in their scams and hung up.

Spoofed caller ID??

Asian answered and said from Mastercard security. Asked where they were ringing from and hung up

Reverse Au list these people as scammers. I don’t answer my phone if the number is not in my contact list because of people like this. This is the third cool I’ve had today. I refuse to answer. They won’t leave a message and hang up so I block the number
