Possibly fund-raising company, often for the rural fire service. Once they got hold of an active number they will keep calling over and over again. I have learnt to ignore numbers I don't recognise - if it's important they will leave a message.

NB - fund raising companies are not the charity organisation themselves, but rather, they charge probably half of what they raise. If you do want to donate, go directly to the charity, at least this way your good will actually reach the charity itself.

Suspected scam call.
Doesn't leave a message or does and it sounds like a pocket dial from a car.
Attempts to return call met with recording "No routes found" and the number is disconnected.

Guy left a message just laughing - silence then laughing again. DO NOT ANSWER. SCAM

They call and when you answer there's a long gap then you hear a click then someone talks to you, I hung up straight away, they are definitely "phishing" scammers.
