Automated message claiming to be from eBay, stating money was to come out of my account. I hung up at this stage. A scam. same as the others. went to voicemail, didn't catch who they said they were supposed to be but automated female voice told me they were deducting $299 from my account, press (whatever no) to cancel transaction or press (whatever no) to speak to someone. Received half a msg advising that something would be automatically debited, and to press 1, etc etc. The first part of msg was not recorded, so no idea who they were claiming to be, or the amount. I knew it was a scam. Scam, Philipino woman who struggled with clear english wanting account numbers and pretending to be Ebay.
Became abusive when called out.
Left message saying 299 dollars would be deducted and to press numbers to reverse debit .
